New York Jets

The Jets seriously need to help Sam Darnold. Why not trade a 6th-7th round pick for the aging wide receiver. He has looked rusty this year. But, I am a believer. I know the talent is there and honestly anything is better than nothing, which is currently what Darnold has to work with. Braxton Berrios, Jeff Smith, Chris Hogan…. exactly. He’s got nothing to work with besides Jamison Crowder. This is a trade that would benefit both sides.

The Bengals are looking to get younger, and now they get something in return for a player that will likely leave them in the offseason. Worth the flyer if you ask me. AJ Green still could have 3-4 more productive years in the NFL, and the Jets desperately need help.

This would satisfy Jets fans even if Green is unproductive. At least you showed the willingness to try to make the team better. The Jets are in the Trevor Lawrence Sweepstakes and nothing would make fans angrier than if they didn’t even give Darnold a chance with some offensive firepower around him.

Get out there and make it happen, Joe Douglas.

Next up, the Philadelphia Eagles.
