Cincinnati Bengals

Minnesota Vikings. Riley Reiff. 71. player. 60. . OT

When you watch the Bengals, you see they need help on the offensive line. That is highlighted by their performance in Week 5 against the Ravens. Joe Burrow is going to have PTSD from this day. Burrow was sacked 7 times, fumbled twice, and threw one interception. Burrow consistently had no time to throw, which is why they need to help him out.

Introducing: Riley Reiff. Reiff has been in the NFL for 9 years and most recently signed a large extension back in 2017. Over the off-season, the Vikings threatened to release him unless he restructured his deal, so he did just that to stay in Minnesota. Riley has been one of the better left tackles in the NFL over the last decade or so, and he will be a huge upgrade over the Bengals current left tackle. The Bengals need someone to protect Burrow’s blindside, and Reiff could be their guy.

This isn’t the ‘sexy pick’ that Bengals’ fans could’ve been hoping for, but he is the right pick. The Bengals aren’t winning anything with their current roster. They need to improve the trenches on both sides of the ball, and that starts first with their Offensive Tackle. The Vikings would surely accept any trade for Reiff as they almost cut him this year.

A bright future is ahead for the Bengals. Their young core of Burrow, Mixon, Boyd and Higgins will be very good for years to come.
