The Lions returned to action after their off week and headed south to Jacksonville to take on the struggling Jaguars. And this time, Matt Patricia’s club jumped out to a big lead and not only held on but would prevail comfortably. Rookie D’Andre Swift ran for 116 yards and two touchdowns as Detroit gained 180 yards on the ground and 403 total. The NFL’s worst run defense entering Week 6 limited Jacksonville to 44 yards rushing.

Before Sunday, the Broncos’ previous game was a Thursday night affair on October 1. They clashed with the Patriots at Foxborough and it was a day of opportunistic defense and a big afternoon for kicker Brandon McManus. He scored all 18 points for Vic Fangio’s club courtesy of six field goals while running back Phillip Lindsay ran for 101 yards on 23 carries. After forcing only two turnovers in their first four games, Denver totaled three takeaways.

54. . 1-4-1. Previous: . Philadelphia Eagles. 22. team

The defending NFC East champs lost for the fourth time in six games but made things interesting late in the game as they scored 22 fourth-quarter points. Carson Wentz was sacked six times and lost a fumble. The Philadelphia defense surrendered 182 yards rushing, 108 of that by Ravens’ quarterback Lamar Jackson. Wentz finished with 213 yards through the air and a pair of touchdowns and Travis Fulgham scored for the third consecutive game.
