3 best landing spots for Marcell Ozuna in free agency

If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. For all the hullabaloo about Max Fried and Ian Anderson in their starting rotation, the tip of the Atlanta sword is their deep lineup that can feature Ronald Acuña Jr., Ozzie Albies, and Freddie Freeman all hitting in a row. Ozuna assumed a role in the middle of the order, and his power and ability to drive in runs were instrumental in Atlanta’s title push. Ozuna has quickly evolved from a veteran on a one-year “prove it” deal into an indispensable member of the lineup, and he should be compensated as such.
The only concern with Ozuna if he chooses to head to a National League team is his defense, which is subpar to say the very least. If the NL makes the DH permanent or the Braves can hold their nose whenever they have to pencil Ozuna into the outfield, they could bring him back on a relatively cheap contract and keep most of the lineup that won the NL East and was one game away from the World Series. Doing so could set Atlanta up for a half-decade of dominance.
