West Brom face Burnley at The Hawthorns on Monday, Oct. 19. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

The Premier League season resumes following the international break with West Brom hosting Burnley at The Hawthorns. The Baggies have gotten off to a poor start to the season, picking up only one point in their first four games. The Clarets are one of three clubs who have yet to pick up a point this season. With both teams dealing with low expectations this season, Monday’s game between the two clubs could end up playing a large role in the relegation battle.

West Brom have been easily beaten in three of their four games this season. The Baggies blew a 3-0 halftime lead against Chelsea and had to settle for a draw. Manager Slaven Bilic’s club has the chance to secure points in the next few games with West Brom playing a very weak schedule over the next couple of weeks. The Baggies cannot afford to drop points if they are going to avoid relegation. Offensively, West Brom’s attack will involve Callum Robinson and Matheus Pereira. The two players have combined for three goals and two assists this season. If both players have strong performances on Monday, the Baggies could leave The Hawthorns with all three points.

Burnley have lost their first three games of the season. The Clarets surprisingly finished in seventh place during the 2017-18 season when they conceded only 39 goals. Burnley have regressed defensively since that season. This season, the Clarets have allowed eight goals in their three games. Manager Sean Dyche will have to get his team playing better defensively if they are going to avoid relegation. Burnley have never been much of an attacking team under Dyche. The club has never scored more than 45 goals under Dyche in any Premier League season. That doesn’t look like it will change anytime soon. If Burnley are going to avoid the drop, they will have to find some way to generate offensive chances.
