Dodgers fans set to dominate the World Series
Los Angeles Dodgers fans look to bring home-field advantage to a neutral World Series setting
As the Los Angeles Dodgers look to continue to roll with the momentum that they gained in the NLCS, Dodger fans are flocking to Texas to help their team take home the World Series chip against a tough Tampa Bay Rays club.
Major League Baseball’s version of a bubble is taking place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas and it seems as though LA faithful will look to turn the tide in its team’s favor.
With the Dodgers coming off an emotional rollercoaster of an NLCS against the Atlanta Braves, in which they became the latest squad to squash the down 3-1 odds, momentum will surely be in their favor. The Rays, having won a Game 7 of their own, were happy to have edged out the Houston Astros after almost blowing their 3-0 lead.
The Rays have always had trouble filling up their own Tropicana Field, so it’s not surprising that it doesn’t look like fans are making the trip to Texas for the World Series. We’ll have to see how the presence of Dodger fans affects the series and if either team will benefit from it being a neutral site.
