Dynamo Kyiv face Juventus at NSK Olimpisky on Tuesday, Oct. 20. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

The Champions League group stage kicks off on Tuesday with Dynamo Kviy hosting Juventus at NSK Olimpisky. Kyiv are in the Champions League for the first time since 2016, while Juventus are making their ninth consecutive appearance.

Dynamo Kyiv are trying to get out of the group stage for the first time since the 2015-16 season when they were knocked out in the round of 16. Kyiv finished second for the fourth consecutive season in the Ukrainian Premier Liga. The club is off to a strong start to the season and are first after six games. Viktor Tsygankov will be one of the key players for Kyiv. Tsygankov is one of the top young Ukrainian players and leads the club with three goals this season.

For Juventus, their success under first-year manager Andrea Pirlo will be measured by how far they go in the Champions League. After winning nine straight Serie A titles, only a Champions League victory will satisfy the fans in Turin. Last season, Juve were upset in the round of 16 by Lyon. It was the second consecutive season that a smaller club upset Juventus. Through four games, Juventus have eight points this season as they look to extend their championship run domestically. The Black and Whites will be shorthanded when they play on Tuesday as injuries and positive COVID-19 cases will sideline several players. Cristiano Ronaldo and Weston McKennie are both expected to miss the game following a positive test, while Aaron Ramsey, Alex Sandro and Matthijs de Ligt are dealing with injuries.
