Brandon Lowe hit his second home run of Game 2 of the World Series to give the Rays a commanding lead over the Dodgers.

What a night for Brandon Lowe.

For the second time in Game 2 of the World Series, Lowe sent a dinger into the stands to build on the Rays advantage.

This time, Lowe’s two-run homer went 381 feet, resulting in a 5-0 lead over the Dodgers.

Brandon Lowe has his groove back for the Rays

Going into Game 2, Lowe had hit just one home run and was having an all-around frustrating postseason. His batting average and slugging percentage from the regular season had taken a dive as he struggled to make solid contact.

That all changed on Wednesday night. The second baseman went yard in the first inning against starter Tony Gonsolin. Multiple pitching changes for the Dodgers didn’t shake things up for the batter either. In the top of the fifth, his home run came against Dustin May.

The pitcher knew it was gone as soon as the bat made contact.

The Dodgers used an offensive outpouring to get by the Rays in Game 1. For Tampa Bay on Wednesday, turnabout was fair play it seems.
