A Philadelphia Eagles fan who started a fight in the stands on Sunday is banned from Lincoln Financial Field.

The Philadelphia Eagles welcomed fans into Lincoln Financial Field for the first time this season, but at a limited capacity due to the ongoing spread of the coronavirus in the United States. Even allowing a small number of fans into NFL stadiums was going to present itself as a potential issue. This past Sunday proved just that, as an Eagles fan donning a Carson Wentz jersey was filmed starting a fight in the nosebleeds section of “The Linc,” during the team’s 30-28 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The clip was trending all over social media, and now, that fan is facing justice.

According to reports, the Eagles organization investigated the fight, identified the individual and contacted the local authorities. Now, that man is banned from all future events at Lincoln Financial Field for violating the fan code of conduct.

Eagles welcomed 7,500 fans into the stadium

On Oct. 13, the Eagles received approval from local government and public health officials to allow up to 7,500 fans into the stadium for home games. Season-ticket holders who wanted to take in Eagles home games live had to follow the league’s, which included wearing masks, socially distance around the stadium and sit in podded areas.

As you can see, this individual decided to ignore the team’s stadium policy and opted to throw hands with another fan for a still-unspecified reason. Whatever the cause for this incident to escalate wasn’t worth it, because this man is now limited to watching Eagles games from his living room from here-on-out.

You can expect Lincoln Financial Field employees will be much stricter on protocol this Thursday, as the Eagles host the New York Giants in a pivotal NFC East contest. Eagles fans, if you want to attend home games for the foreseeable future, please, don’t get into fights.

Next. Eagles will be without Zach Ertz and Miles Sanders for quite some time. dark
