The Champions League is the one title that has eluded Manchester City since their current ownership group took over. Getting out of the group stage is expected for City, who are in a very weak group. After losing in the quarterfinals against Lyon last season, another early exit could end Guardiola’s tenure with the Citizens. Porto advanced out of the group stage in three consecutive seasons between 2017-19. After winning the Portuguese league last season, the club will expect to advance to the knockout stage again this year. Jesus Corona will be a key player for the Dragons. The Mexican winger has two goals and two assists through four games.
