World Series Game 2: Dodgers, Rays reveal lineups
By John Buhler
The Los Angeles Dodgers have all the momentum heading into Game 2 vs. the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Tampa Bay Rays and the Los Angeles Dodgers have the lineup cards set for Game 2 tonight.
Los Angeles took Game 1 of the 2020 World Series on Tuesday night fair easily by dominating Tampa Bay throughout. The Dodgers have now won four postseason games in a row after overcoming a 3-1 series deficit to the Atlanta Braves in the 2020 NLCS. Tampa Bay needs to slow down the Dodgers on Wednesday night to have any realistic shot in this best-of-seven series.

The bottom of the order is Willy Adames, Kevin Kiermaier and Mike Zunino. Left-hander Blake Snell will be on the mound for the Rays, as he hopes to do better than how Tyler Glasnow did in his Game 1 start yesterday.
Los Angeles Dodgers’ 2020 World Series Game 2 starting lineup
1. Mookie Betts RF
2. Corey Seager SS
3. Justin Turner 3B
4. Max Muncy 1B
5. Will Smith C
6. Cody Bellinger CF
7. A.J. Pollock DH
8. Enrique Hernandez 2B
9. Chris Taylor LF
Starting Pitcher: Tony Gonsolin
Los Angeles goes with Mookie Betts, Corey Seager and Justin Turner at the top of the order. The middle of the Dodgers’ batting order is Max Muncy, Will Smith and Cody Bellinger. Hitting seven-eight-nine are A.J. Pollock, Enrique Hernandez and Chris Taylor. “The Catman” Tony Gonsolin will be the Dodgers’ Game 2 starter, as he hopes to build off the fine job Clayton Kershaw did last night.
While Tampa Bay may have the slight starting pitcher advantage, keep in mind that Snell hasn’t had a quality start in well over a year. Gonsolin pitched twice for the Dodgers in the NLCS vs. the Braves and looked solid in both outings. With the wide array of big bats behind him backing him up, Gonsolin looks to pitch freely knowing his team has a 1-0 series lead in this best-of-seven.
Do the Dodgers go up 2-0 on the Rays tonight will Tampa Bay even the series at a game apiece?
