The Philadelphia Eagles marched all over the New York Giants defense like a hot knife through butter.

Never has a game between two teams with three combined wins have much at stake in Week 7. The Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants are battling on Thursday Night Football for positioning in the NFC East standings. The Eagles got the ball on the opening drive, and they successfully converted.

The Eagles marched through the Giants defense like a hot knife through butter, thanks in part to running plays by Boston Scott, DeSean Jackson and quarterback Carson Wentz. On the 11th play of the drive, Wentz rushed into the end zone on a one-yard touchdown run to give Philadelphia the early 7-0 lead.

Giants defense no match for the Eagles offense

Remember when the Eagles offense would struggle early in games against the opposition. Well, it appears all they needed to do was face off against the Giants defense to cure what ails them.
