The Buccaneers need to be careful in Las Vegas on Sunday night

Week 6 was a showcase game for Tampa Bay and they made a big statement by blowing out the previously unbeaten Green Bay Packers at home. The storyline here was the emergence of the Tampa Bay defense, which harassed Aaron Rodgers into a pair of interceptions while sacking him four times.

The Buccaneers also got an efficient performance out of Tom Brady, who looked much more comfortable with the healthy return of Chris Godwin to the offense. Rob Gronkowski even turned back the clock, catching five passes for 78 yards and a score in the win.

The oddsmakers have established the Buccaneers as 2.5 point favorites next Sunday night when they travel to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders. People may have forgotten about the Raiders a bit after their Week 6 bye but their last game was a memorable performance where Las Vegas went into Arrowhead Stadium and knocked off the unbeaten Chiefs.

This will be a cross country flight for Tampa Bay which hasn’t demonstrated a ton of consistency week-to-week as they look to get into a groove going forward. Las Vegas is clearly a dangerous opponent and is more than capable of upsetting the Buccaneers if they are off their game just a bit.
