Michigan vs. Minnesota: Odds, TV info, live stream, prediction
Michigan and Minnesota are squaring off in primetime Saturday night. Here’s how to bet and how to watch the Big Ten showdown.
The Michigan Wolverines enter the season ranked No. 18 in the nation as Jim Harbaugh looks to finally get his team into the College Football Playoff. A season-opening matchup against No. 21 Minnesota provides a legitimate test.
The Golden Gophers capped off last season with a win over Auburn in the Outback Bowl to finish with an 11-2 record. A 9-0 start proved P.J. Fleck is doing plenty right up north and a win over Michigan to open this season would not be a surprise.

There is no real momentum heading into this game as both teams appear rather evenly matched. Not having a tune-up game against a weak non-conference opponent should show which team is better from the start.
This one is a real toss-up. Michigan is only getting three points and they are playing on the road. However, the lack of a true away atmosphere is something to remember. The Wolverines are the higher-ranked team and for now, we can assume they will live up to that.
The point total is tricky with this being the first game of the year. But with freezing temperatures in Minnesota, let’s play it safe and take the under.
