The Dallas Cowboys and Andy Dalton will look to get back on track this Sunday in a big NFC East game against Washington.
After an embarrassing Monday Night Football loss to the Arizona Cardinals, the Dallas Cowboys are looking to re-take the lead in the NFC East standings on Sunday with a win against the Washington Football Team needed.
Entering the Week 7 tilt, all eyes will be on both Andy Dalton and Ezekiel Elliott to try and right the ship for Mike McCarthy’s offense. At the same time, Washington will be hungry for a win as well. Who will come out on top?
What to watch for in Dallas vs. Washington in Week 8
Both Dalton and Elliott had miserable showings against the Cardinals in Week 6. To lose 38-10 at home was simply unacceptable for this team, so we’ll have to see how they bounce back. For Elliott, he’s got to hold on to the football.
He lost two fumbles in the loss to Arizona, leading to two Cardinals’ touchdowns. Those turnovers must come to an end if Dallas wants a chance at taking down Washington on Sunday. As for Washington, They’re 1-5 on the year and are in desperate need of a win.
