Christmas came early for Le’Veon Bell in first carry as a Chief (Video)

Le’Veon Bell will have a much better holiday season in Kansas City than in New York.
Talk about quite the team upgrade for running back Le’Veon Bell in the last few weeks.
Bell is now on his third NFL team in the Kansas City Chiefs. While he was one of the best backs in football with the Pittsburgh Steelers, he was never a good fit in his year and change with the awful New York Jets. If you want to see how bad it was for him with Gang Green, he just rattled off his second-best carry since Christmas 2017 on his first rushing attempt with the Chiefs.
Not only will Bell get better play designs, but he might win a ring in Kansas City.
Though he will split carries with first-round rookie Clyde Edwards-Helaire in the Kansas City backfield, Bell should be thanking his lucky stars that he has ended up on a superior football organization when compared to the horribly-run Jets. Bell joins an organization that is as buttoned-up, top-to-bottom like what he had when he previously starred for the Steelers.
Bell sat out the entire 2018 NFL season due to a contract dispute. He hit free agency and signed with the Jets. That was a bad idea only made worse by the general manager who paid him all that money getting terminated before the start of the 2019 NFL season in Mike Maccagnan. Now he plays for a team who won Super Bowl LIV a season ago and will be in the mix to win it again.
It is Christmas every day for Bell now that he plays for the Chiefs and not the Jets any more.
