The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly shopping edge rusher Everson Griffen, who they just signed months ago. Here are three teams that should be finalizing a deal with Jerry Jones.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. The Dallas Cowboys spent this past offseason stacking their roster with big-name talent with the purpose of reaching the Super Bowl for the first time since 1996. One of the biggest signings the Cowboys made was inking former Minnesota Vikings edge rusher Everson Griffen to a one-year deal, making their defense scary on paper.

The Cowboys defense has been anything but scary this season. Coordinator Mike Nolan can’t handle Tabasco sauce, let alone opposing NFL offenses. With the Cowboys falling to 2-5 on the season, NFL insider Ian Rapoport dropped the bombshell that the team is willing to trade Griffen. There are plenty of teams who are in desperate need for an edge rusher, but these three squads need him the most.

West. player. 28. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 3.. AFC. Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders have needed pass rush help since the start of the new league year. Why they never inquired about Griffen never made much sense. But now is the perfect time for this AFC West squad to add him, because they need all the help they can get.

Sure, Maxx Crosby has come into his own as the team’s best pass rusher, but he hasn’t had much help on the opposite side of the defensive line. Crosby has four sacks through the first six weeks of Las Vegas’ season, while the rest of the team has accumulated only three sacks. That’s simply inexcusable, especially if the Raiders want to make it to the playoffs this year out of the tough AFC West.

2019 fourth overall pick Clelin Ferrell hasn’t panned out like many expected and is trending towards becoming the biggest first-round reach in recent NFL Draft memory. A tandem of Griffen and Crosby coming off the edge could do wonders for Las Vegas, especially if they want to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs for the second time this season.
