While the likes of Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling have been making plays opposite Davante Adams, that doesn’t change the fact that choosing not to get Aaron Rodgers a wide receiver was an inexplicably bad decision from Brian Gutekunst. If the Packers want to get Rodgers a high-end No. 2, they could look to Gallup, who has fallen out of favor in Dallas after the selection of CeeDee Lamb in the first round of the draft.

Gallup is coming off of a season in which he totaled 1,100 yards and six touchdowns, showing exactly how nasty of a deep threat he can be when he is given a somewhat featured role in an offense.

Third and sixth-round picks shouldn’t prevent Green Bay from making what could be the most impactful trade of the deadline. With Adams and Gallup next to one another, Green Bay could continue to prove they are legit contenders while Dallas gets two more picks to rebuild what’s left of their shambolic defense.
