There are a few intriguing star receivers this week. Davante Adams is coming off a 38-point performance, and he’s facing Adam Thielen in a game that always drive star power. Those two could steal the show on each side of the ball. Here, go with Thielen just because he’s literally $1,400 cheaper.

Thielen has been hit by trade rumors this week with the Vikings season not going like many had planned. It’s still early and there are seven playoff teams this season, but the Vikings could be listening to any and all trade offers after sending Yannick Ngakoue to the Ravens. This could motivate Thielen to play even better this week.

He’s always been good against the Packers. Earlier this year, he put up 110 yards and two touchdowns against his team’s biggest rival. In 2018, Thielen’s two best fantasy outputs came against the Packers. Last season, there was one atrocious performance against the Packers that might skew things, but more times than not Thielen is ready to face the Packers.

Thielen has been on fire all season, and Justin Jefferson ascention gives the Packers another option to cover that didn’t really exist in September. Thielen doesn’t have to worry about too many double teams because Kirk Cousins could still make the Packers pay. This should lead to open field for the Vikings top receiver.
