FanDuel NFL 2020: Best lineup for Week 8

Wide Receiver: Jarvis Landry $5,800

Jarvis Landry is having a bad season. There’s not much else to say about it at this point. It doesn’t help that Baker Mayfield has struggled, but even when he hasn’t, Landry hasn’t put up stats. He’s yet to get over 90 yards in a game or score a touchdown. There’s a reason why someone who has been as consistent as Landry in the past is now this far down the price point.

Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr. revealed he will be out for the season with a torn ACL. This is going to immediately make Landry the top target for Baker Mayfield, who hopes to finally be hitting his stride the past two weeks. A last-minute touchdown to Donovan Peoples-Jones should breed confidence to the Browns quarterback.

Now Landry might be able to get the fruits of that labor. He’s the top guy in Cleveland with a quarterback that’s finally feeling himself. Landry has been hurt more than just about anyone with Mayfield’s struggles. If he is snapping out of it, Landry will become a fantasy option once again.

This could be the week to jump on the bandwagon and get the value while it’s there. Landry is in the same price point as Henry Ruggs III and Julian Edelman. Both have either been wildly inconsistent or just straught up bad. Landry is the best of these low-cost options, especially since he’s the top option in what is looking like a decent offense from here on out.
