2. Trade For Riley Reiff
Reiff was a possible release candidate for the cap-strapped Vikings this offseason before he agreed to a restructure. His contract expires after 2021, and with a $13.95 million cap hit it seems unlikely he’ll be back in purple next year.
Reiff is having a solid season at left tackle, though there’s been some speculation over the last year or two if the Vikings would kick him inside to guard. The Bears need help across the board along the offensive line to bolster pass protection and help a running game that can’t get going, save perhaps for center Cody Whitehair.
Aaron Donald and Leonard Floyd led a #Rams defense that pressured Nick Foles on 37.2% of his dropbacks.

OT Riley Reiff turns 32 in a month and will have $3.12M remaining on his 2020 salary at the deadline. @PFF grades:

FWIW if Sambrailo remains serviceable I would have a hard time seeing the #Titans trade for an OT. pic.twitter.com/6lCJgMIpbS
The Bears also had just 49 rushing yards (2.9 yards per carry) in Week 7 against the Rams.
Reiff is among the veterans the Vikings reportedly are (and should be) looking to trade. He may even be open to the idea.
I'm sure Riley Reiff is ecstatic he took less money so Minnesota could fit Ngakoue on the books, only to trade him two months later

I'd imagine he's open to a trade as well
Doing a deal with a division rival can be tricky, especially if the Vikings somehow are thinking they can still make the playoffs this year. But as Bears GM Ryan Pace surveys the market for offensive lineman, a call to the Vikings about Reiff is too easy.
