Chase Claypool has reached expert-level trolling.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool has been a social media icon this week. Grabbing new fans each day with his TikTok trends, he’s also becoming savvy on Twitter. However, Sunday just proved that the rookie wideout is an expert when it comes to trolling.

Following the team’s 28-24 victory against the Baltimore Ravens, Claypool took to Twitter to speak of the team’s recent 7-0 success. Much like the “see her,” joke, the young pass-catcher brought up how the team remains undefeated entering the midway point of the 2020 season.

Claypool’s recent success could make him a star

Claypool played an essential role during the team’s victory Sunday afternoon. In the fourth quarter, Ben Roethlisberger would connect with the former Notre Dame product on an 8-yard touchdown to claim the lead. Claypool would finish with five catches for 42 yards, averaging 8.4 yards per catch.

Another second-round gem for the Steelers at the wide receiver position, Claypool has been off to a hot start. In Week 5 against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Canadian native would first Steelers rookie in franchise history to score four touchdowns in a single game, finishing with seven catches for 110 yards. On the year, Claypool has hauled in 23 receptions for 375 yards and five touchdowns.

Although still young, playing on a winning team is fun. It also gives player bragging rights among other rookies all season long. He’ll have to keep up the production, but Claypool certainly has earned the right to troll a little bit among his peers until further notice.
