Drew Lock and the Broncos engineered a comeback to pile on the Chargers’ misery.
The Los Angeles Chargers are in a hole that they can’t get out of. Drew Lock and the Broncos made sure it got a bit deeper on Sunday.
Lock threw three touchdowns in the fourth quarter as Denver turned around a 24-3 second-half deficit.
His final score came with zeros on the clock, giving Denver the unlikeliest of wins.

I feel like I’ve watched the #Chargers lose in every brutal way possible.pic.twitter.com/nzJ23x5jfQ
The result was delight for the Broncos and misery for the Chargers.
Chargers have a reputation for blowing leads
This is the fourth-straight lead Los Angeles has blown this season. They survived giving up a 16-point lead to the Jaguars last week, but lost to the Saints after going up by 17 and did the same to the Buccaneers the week before.
This time, the lead was 21 points. They’re now historically bad at holding onto leads.
#Chargers first team in NFL history to blow four leads of 16 points or more in four straight games. Fifth time in franchise history they have blown a lead of 21 or more. Last time was 2016 vs. Kansas City.

LA may not have enjoyed the day too much after a certain point, but Lock found his groove late and had the time of his life.
