Patrick Mahomes has absolutely torched up the New York Jets defense on Sunday, tossing four touchdowns.

Before you go ahead and think that Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is going to run away with the 2020 MVP award, let’s not forget about the amazing play thus far this season of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

On Sunday against the New York Jets, the Super Bowl MVP has been playing lights out, firing the ball all over the field. His latest score came on a brilliant deep throw to Tyreek Hill for a 41-yard score. No defense would be able to stop this kind of a play seen below.

Patrick Mahomes has been unstoppable on Sunday against the Jets

Everyone figured Mahomes would be exceptional on Sunday, but for him to throw for more than 400 yards and five touchdowns without even breaking a sweat is something even the biggest Chiefs haters can appreciate.

To make things even better for the superstar signal-caller, Mahomes’ touchdown passes have come to four different players, with him hitting Robinson, Tyreek Hill twice, Travis Kelce and Melcole Hardman. You know Mahomes loves to spread things around, which is what makes the Kansas City offense so dangerous.

What makes Mahomes so special too is that he basically never turns the ball over. He only has one interception this year. Remember when Tyreek Hill threw shade at Russell Wilson earlier this week? Well, Mahomes let’s him do stuff like that with confidence.

If Mahomes continues to play ball at this level, there’s no stopping the Chiefs from potentially winning back-to-back Super Bowl titles. And when it comes time to vote for MVP, Mahomes definitely needs to be in the conversation, no doubt about that.
