It really can’t get much worse for the Bears than their performance last week. Chicago lost to Los Angeles on the road, and in the process one of the best defenses in the NFL made Nick Foles and Co. look silly. Bears fans were actually calling for Mitchell Trubisky to be re-inserted back in at the position.

The Saints, meanwhile, have won three straight against the likes of the Lions, Chargers and Panthers, meaning the Bears will be the toughest defense they’ve faced in quite some time. Drew Brees is fighting against Khalil Mack and the Bears as well as Father Time, who is coming quick for the remainder of his NFL career.

Can Nick Foles bounce back at home against the streaking Saints?

Foles has several options on offense, led by Allen Robinson. For a team that’s 5-2, Chicago has a number of question marks, and Matt Nagy is arguably on the hot seat midseason. Nagy was expected to bring a capable offense to Chicago upon his hire, but he’s done anything but that in his short time at the helm.

The Saints are second place in the NFC South by just a half game, having played one less game than their rival the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With Tom Brady facing the lowly New York Giants on Monday night, a loss would almost assure the Saints would fall further back in the standings.
