Midtjylland face Ajax at MCH Arena on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Here’s all the info you need to watch this Champions League match.

The Champions League returns for the third game of the group stage. On Tuesday, Midtjylland play Ajax at MCH Arena. Midtjylland are looking for their first win in the competition. Ajax are in desperate need of a win, after getting only one point in their first two games.

Midtjylland’s Champions League debut is going as about well as anyone would have thought. The club is one of the smallest clubs in the competition and they simply do not have the talent or depth to match up against clubs like Atalanta, Liverpool, and Ajax. The Wolves were outscored 6-0 by Atalanta and Liverpool in their first two games. The club will go for their first Champions League goal and try to upset a Dutch team dealing with a lot of adversity.

Ajax will be dealing with a very shorthanded squad when they travel to Denmark. At least 11 players have tested positive for COVID-19. Manager Erik ten Hag will only have 17 players available for Tuesday’s game. Ten Hag will have to replace his entire midfield and rely on his third-string keeper. The short squad will present the Dutch champions with a unique challenge but one that they can overcome thanks in large part to their extremely well-run youth academy that has been developing world-class players for generations.
