With the NFL trade deadline coming on Tuesday, will the Green Bay Packers make any moves to keep them in a position to compete for a Super Bowl?

Leading up to the NFL trade deadline on Tuesday, Green Bay Packers fans everywhere are hoping Brian Gutekunst is working overtime to help this team improve. Following the disappointing loss at home to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8, it was made quite clear Green Bay needs some help if they want to push for a trip back to the Super Bowl.

It goes without saying, but not selecting a wide receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft has come back to haunt this team. With that being said, it’s not too late to make things right for Aaron Rodgers. Here’s a look at three players the Packers and Gutekunst must target before it’s too late.

John Ross has made it more than clear he’s not happy with his role with the Bengals, and that he wants a trade. While Ross may not be a superstar in this league, the young wideout has blazing speed and would be a great addition for this Packers offense.

With his incredible quickness, Ross would provide Rodgers with a much-needed downfield threat. While Rodgers and Davante Adams have incredible chemistry together, Adams isn’t known for his speed. His routes are out of this world, there’s no doubt about that.

However, adding a guy like Ross could really open things up for Rodgers and the rest of the offense. His downfield abilities alone would be a welcome addition. Plus, with how poorly things are going for Ross in Cincinnati, you know he’d arrive to Green Bay with plenty of fire in his belly.

The good thing With Ross as well is that it wouldn’t cost Green Bay a high draft pick to go out and get him from the Bengals. If Gutekunst is serious about helping Rodgers win another Super Bowl before he eventually leaves town, adding someone like Ross could definitely help this team out with those efforts. Only time will tell if something is able to get done.
