LeBron James endorses Joe Biden for President on Instagram

Ahead of the 2020 Election Day, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has officially endorsed Joe Biden on his Instagram page. 

It’s been an incredible past few months for Los Angeles star forward LeBron James. After winning the NBA Finals over the summer, the man known as King James wasted no time in turning his focus to his off-the-court work, including getting involved in the political world.

It’s no secret that James and current U.S. President Donald Trump don’t like one another, which makes it no surprise that James is working tirelessly to try and help Joe Biden and Kamala Harris replace Trump and Mike Pence inside the White House. In one last attempt to encourage voting for Tuesday, James took to Instagram to endorse Biden and Harris.

James has been incredibly active in trying to get fellow Americans to vote in recent months. This includes teaming up with former United States President Barack Obama on an initiative to try and get more members of the African American community to vote.

For James, he’s always refused to ‘shut up and dribble’ and is doing everything he can to try and make a difference. Plenty of other standout athletes have followed his lead in voicing their strong support for the Biden/Harris team. As soon as the election is wrapped up, James and the Lakers will surely shift their focus to the 2020-21 NBA campaign, which is getting ready to start next month.

After winning the NBA Finals this past season, the Lake Show will look to lift the Finals trophy high into the sky once again next spring.
