What Week 9 NFL action will be available in your area?

The NFL has another coronavirus concern in San Francisco but right now it looks like the majority of the Week 9 slate will go off on schedule. There are definitely some intriguing matchups, including a key AFC showdown between the Ravens and Colts, but what action will be available in your area?

Check out this week’s coverage maps, courtesy of 506 Sports, to find out what games will be on where you live and which announcers will be calling the action. Teams on bye this week include the Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles.

Thursday Night Football (FOX/NFL Network)

Green Bay Packers (5-2) at San Francisco 49ers (4-4): Joe Buck, Troy Aikman

The NFL has indicated this game should go off on schedule but Kendrick Bourne’s positive test for COVID has at least raised some question about its prospects. Buck and Aikman will be on the call in a game the 49ers will need to win without Jimmy Garoppolo and George Kittle.

FOX (Singleheader)

Carolina Panthers (3-5) at Kansas City Chiefs (7-1) (Red): Kevin Burkhardt, Daryl Johnston

New York Giants (1-7) at Washington Football Team (2-5) (Blue): Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma

Seattle Seahawks (6-1) at Buffalo Bills (6-2) (Green): Chris Myers, Brock Huard, Greg Jennings

Chicago Bears (5-3) at Tennessee Titans (5-2) (Orange): Kevin Kugler, Chris Spielman

Las Vegas Raiders (4-3) at Los Angeles Chargers (2-5) (Yellow, 4:05): Adam Amin, Mark Schlereth

Fox has the singleheader this week but it does have a few good games throughout the day. The Chiefs-Panthers matchup will go to a significant portion of the country in the 1:00 window while Seahawks-Bills and Bears-Titans will also draw decent market share. The lone 4:05 game is an AFC West matchup between the Raiders and Chargers.

CBS (Early Window)

Baltimore Ravens (5-2) at Indianapolis Colts (5-2) (Red): Ian Eagle, Charles Davis

Detroit Lions (3-4) at Minnesota Vikings (2-5) (Blue): Kevin Harlan, Trent Green

Denver Broncos (3-4) at Atlanta Falcons (2-6) (Green): Greg Gumbel, Rich Gannon

Houston Texans (1-6) at Jacksonville Jaguars (1-6) (Yellow): Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta

CBS’ doubleheader day will start with most of the country getting Lamar Jackson and the Ravens’ big showdown with the Colts. The other three games in this window are pretty regionalized.

CBS (Late Window)

Pittsburgh Steelers (7-0) at Dallas Cowboys (2-6) (Red): Jim Nantz, Tony Romo

Miami Dolphins (4-3) at Arizona Cardinals (5-2) (Blue): Andrew Catalon, James Lofton

The NFL bet big on Steelers-Cowboys in this doubleheader slot and CBS will send it to almost all of the country, which is risky since there’s a good chance the game turns into a dud. CBS does have a backup option in the window with an intriguing matchup between the Dolphins and Cardinasl to go to if the Cowboys get beat up again.

Sunday Night Football (NBC)

New Orleans Saints (5-2) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-2): Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth

This game will have massive importance in the NFC playoff race and NBC will be thrilled to broadcast the best matchup of the weekend.

Monday Night Football (ESPN)

New England Patriots (2-5) at New York Jets (0-8): Steve Levy, Brian Griese, Louis Riddick

This game could be awful as the nation gets to see the 0-8 Jets in a matchup against the worst Patriots’ team in recent memory. Unless you’re a diehard fan or have a gambling interest, this game can easily be skipped.
