Arizona State and USC begin their respective seasons with an early Saturday kickoff. Here’s how to bet and how you can watch the game.

Pac-12 football is finally back this weekend and we get a rare noon kickoff between USC and Arizona State to start the day. The Trojans come in ranked No. 20 in the nation and will look to avoid the upset against a Sun Devils team that won a bowl game in 2019 under the leadership of Herm Edwards.

It was a long road back for the Pac-12, and Saturday is the start of a six-game conference schedule. USC shows up as double-digit favorites, but Arizona State is no pushover.

Clay Helton remains the head coach at USC and will be seeking more job security by winning the games he is supposed to win. Being a 10.5-point favorite fits that description. 19-year-old Kedon Slovis is back at quarterback for the Trojans and did throw for 432 yards in a 31-26 victory over the Sun Devils last season.

The Trojans should win this game handily, but the early start and the fact this is the first game during a weird season makes ASU the safe bet here. Conversely, the over is a smart bet here if we assume the offenses will be more advanced than defenses at this point in the year. Both offenses may take chances early to take advantage of the defenses being a bit sluggish so early on a Saturday morning. A 31-27 finish either way is not a far-fetched prediction.
