Chelsea face Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, Nov. 7. Here’s all the info you need to watch this Premier League game. 

The eighth matchday of the Premier League season kicks off on Saturday with Chelsea hosting Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge. The Blues have 12 points in their first seven games, while the Blades are one of three Premier League clubs that are without a win.

Chelsea easily beat Burnley 3-0 in the Premier League last weekend, then beat Rennes 3-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday. Frank Lampard’s team got off to a slow start to the season but went through the month of October unbeaten. The Blues have championship aspirations and will have to take advantage of a struggling Sheffield team to move closer to Liverpool in the table. Timo Werner has been red-hot for the Blues. In Chelsea’s last six games between the Premier League and the Champions League, Werner has six goals.

Sheffield shocked many when they finished in the top half of the table last season. This year, they look like they will be getting relegated. The Blades have already lost six games and have scored a Premier League-worst three goals. If Sheffield have any hopes of stealing a point from Chelsea, they will have to find a way to generate scoring chances.

In the two games last season, Chelsea picked up four of six points. The Blades were able to hold the Blues to a draw at Stamford Bridge in the fourth game of the season and will try to repeat that performance on Saturday.
