NBC is expected to interrupt the Notre Dame-Clemson game to provide election coverage.
Clemson and Notre Dame was supposed to be the biggest news of the day on Saturday. It still is in the college football universe, but outside that bubble, the election results of President-Elect Joe Biden winning enough electoral votes to defeat Donald Trump is the biggest news around the country and the globe.
As a result, expect the networks to provide coverage when Biden addresses the nation tonight which will interrupt No. 1 Clemson vs. No. 4 Notre Dame on NBC.
President-elect Biden will speak at 7:55 p.m. and the football game will be moved to the USA Network for the duration of his speech. The game will then return to NBC following the conclusion of his speech.

Football fans who want to stick to sports and not miss a play from the biggest college football game of the week, and potentially, the year, should start planning for backup plans. If you don’t have cable and can’t watch on the USA Network, you can always listen to the Notre Dame and Clemson radio networks that will have the audio of the broadcast.
