3. Jerry Jeudy (DEN)

Game: Denver Broncos at Atlanta Falcons (Sunday, 11/8, 1:00 pm EST)

Jeudy was not been quite as prolific as Justin Jefferson or CeeDee Lamb in his maiden NFL voyage, and that is ok. In a regular year, Jeudy would be celebrated for his swift acclimation to the NFL. This year, though, his peers are the standouts, although Jeudy is not too far behind.

The Broncos saved their season last week vs. the Chargers. Vic Fangio’s men mounted a comeback reminiscent of Super Bowl LI when the Patriots infamously rallied against the Falcons. Drew Lock was on tender footing as a starting quarterback because he has not been as otherworldly as a Patrick Mahomes or Lamar Jackson. Those criticisms for Lock will now quiet down for a while.

The Falcons defense is poor, and Jeudy is healthier than his stablemate, Tim Patrick. Start Jeudy if you’re thin at WR2 or FLEX.

4. Marvin Jones (DET)

Game: Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings (Sunday, 11/8, 1:00 pm EST)

This one is easy money. Lions pass-catcher Kenny Golladay will miss time. That means that Jones is the next man up and the de facto WR1. Matthew Stafford, per usual, will throw the football, and that pigskin needs to go somewhere. All indications are that the “somewhere” will be Jones and his teammate, T.J. Hockenson. Jones has shown up as of late, and Stafford has targeted him more frequently. What’s more, the Vikings secondary is not very scary anymore. Mike Zimmer’s team allows 30 fantasy points per game to wideouts — the second-most in the league.
