Colts screwed over on indefensible Marcus Peters interception call (Video)

The officials handed the Baltimore Ravens a pick and screwed over the Indianapolis Colts.
Philip Rivers throws a lot of interceptions, but the Indianapolis Colts got robbed by the officials.
After Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards fumbled on the previous play, Rivers and the Colts offense took over on the Indianapolis 23-yard line. Rivers attempt a pass near the sideline on the first play of the possession to wide receiver Marcus Johnson. Unfortunately, Ravens defensive back Marcus Peters picked off Rivers’ pass…or did he? How was this an interception?
This interception and fumble recovery resulted in Ravens points
Peters supposedly came down with the pick before fumbling it backwards. It looked like Johnson was able to break up the pick for an incompletion, but in a heads-up move by Ravens strong safety Chuck Clark, he recovered the fumble and gave Baltimore the ball back. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh challenged the play. Upon the reversal, the Ravens took over on their own 46-yard line.
10 plays later, Edwards would totally redeem himself and score a go-ahead touchdown. Baltimore took a 14-10 lead early in the third quarter on one of the worst reversals you will ever see. If the tape was slowed down, yes, it may look like Peters came down with the interception. However, in real time, it looked like another incompletion. Hopefully, it will not come back to haunt the Colts.
This game between two AFC contenders is too meaningful for the officials to botch it this badly.
