Is Tom Brady having the worst game of his career?
By John Buhler
Tom Brady played terribly in the first half vs. the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football.
Tom Brady had a first half to forget vs. the New Orleans Saints in primetime on Sunday.
Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers entered halftime down 31-0 to Drew Brees‘ Saints. This was the signature game of the weekend on Sunday Night Football and it was at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Yet for the second time this season, it feels like the Buccaneers will succumb to defeat to their bitter NFC South rival. So how bad is it going for Brady and the Buccaneers tonight?

It will take a 28-3 second half performance for Brady to overcome this deficit
In the first two quarters of Sunday Night Football, Brady completed 11-of-22 passes for 96 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. He averaged 4.4 yards per passing attempt and had a quarterback rating of 24.1. While he had two nice completions in a potential two-minute drill, his second interception of the night was unbelievably horrendous. He played like a 43-year-old man.
There is really no way the Buccaneers can come back and win this game with the way Brady is playing. Though he overcame a 25-point deficit v.s the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl 51, it is abundantly clear Brady does not have it in this game. Tampa Bay may be a playoff team this season, but it feels like they will get in for the first time since 2007 as a certain Wild Card Team.
There was not a single redeemable thing about how Brady played in the first half vs. the Saints.
