Bills Mafia proved why they’re the most passionate fanbase in the entire NFL with a fantastic act of kindness.

When it comes to the most passionate fans in all of the NFL, that distinction is held proudly by the Buffalo Bills. Wile they are known for their willingness to dive through flaming folding tables in  parking lots, they are also known for their charitable efforts. Bills Mafia stepped up in a huge way in the past 24 hours.

Prior to the Bills’ huge game against the Seattle Seahawks, quarterback Josh Allen learned that his grandmother passed away at the age of 80. After word began circulating during and following Buffalo’s 44-34 win over Seattle, Bills fans decided to donate to the Oishei Children’s Hospital in $17 increments in honor of Allen’s grandmother. As of this writing, Bills fans raised a grand total of $63,000 and counting, and Allen was blown away by the support.

Bills Mafia steps up for a worthy cause

Allen has worked extensively with Oishei Children’s Hospital ever since he was selected seventh-overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, where he made numerous visits to meet with patients. Allen worked with Wegman’s grocery store to create and sell “Josh’s Jaqs” cereal, where the quarterback is donating 17-percent of proceed to Oishei’s.

This isn’t the first time the Bills Mafia helped donate to a cause. Back in Week 17 of the 2017 season, the Bills celebrated their first playoff berth in 17-years after Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton scored a last-minute touchdown to defeat the Baltimore Ravens. In response, Bills fans donated $17 increments to the “Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation,” to help seriously ill children and their families as a thank you for helping the Bills make the playoffs. In total, the Bills fanbase raised over $415,000 to Dalton’s charity.

On Sunday, Allen had a career-game, where he completed 31-of-38 pass attempts for 415 yards and three touchdowns, while rushing for a seven-yard score against the Seahawks.

The Bills fanbase welcomed Allen with welcome arms upon his arrival in Buffalo, and they decided to honor his grandmother by donating to a cause the quarterback cares about. It’s a no-contest, the Bills have the kindest fanbase in the entire NFL.
