Early College football DFS picks November 14: London calling

This was supposed to be a massive14-game college football DFS slate to kick off our Saturday, but COVID has already nabbed four of the games on this slate. We have no Ohio State and no Maryland for value. We also lose A&M against the Tennessee “defense.” We don’t get Auburn beating up Mississippi State or Georgia being pushed by Missouri. So what do we have?

We kick this off with a defensive battle between TCU and West Virginia. Also going early are the struggling Nittany Lions heading to Lincoln. Indiana gets to try to sweep Michigan. Does the Miami defense show up against the Hokies? Can Wake stop the Carolina backs? Who will break the slate for Marshall?

That’s not all. The afternoon features Texas Tech trying to score on Baylor. A Catholic battle between BC and Notre Dame shouldn’t be missed. Louisville tries their luck against Virginia. And USC gets to tee off on the Arizona D.

I had a couple of solid nights of MACtion that could have been better had Eastern Michigan not sat half their team. Late scratches…..and I do mean late…..like ten minutes after slate lock….have plagued the early week. Hopefully we have none of that nonsense here.

This is going to be a very high scoring slate again. I dropped a few in the 200’s that didn’t cash last Saturday. That could happen again.

The scoring for DraftKings college football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!

The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. College football DFS scoring realizes that!
