1. James Conner is a must-start against the Bengals

Conner has not notched a humongous game in a while. His last two games against the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens have been lackluster. You have likely felt the pain with Connor in your RB1 or RB2 slot.

Now is not the time to bench him. The Steelers are owners of the best record in the NFL (8-0), and good football teams often end up running the football late in games. Insert James Conner.

Joe Burrow makes his first annual trip to Pittsburgh to face off against the undefeated Steelers. What a nasty year to begin a mandatory tradition. The Bengals are not playing great, but they also are not a lousy team. There’s a chance they could hang tough with their divisional foes, but the betting odds say Pittsburgh will thump the inferior Bengals.

Cincinnati does not stop running backs from a fantasy perspective. They allow halfback to scamper for 18.6 PPR points per game, which is eighth-worst in the NFL. This is probably not the game when the Bengals shape up and remedy this tendency. It’s the Steelers in Pittsburgh, for God’s sake.

Although Conner has been an aggravating fantasy starter recently, show some stick-to-it-ness and go with Conner for 15+ PPR points.
