TThe star defender of the Chicago Bears showed his feat of strength at the expense of Adam Thielen.

Remember in the first quarter when we were all gushing over Minnesota Vikings receiver Adam Thielen’s impressive one-handed touchdown catch against the Chicago Bears? Well, life can come at you fast sometimes, and Thielen can attest to that.

In the second quarter, quarterback Kirk Cousins hit Thielen on a pass for an apparent first down. The thing is, Thielen didn’t get a firm grasp of the ball, which allowed Bears stud linebacker Khalil Mack to use his brute strength to rip it out of his hands for the interception.

Mack haunts the Vikings

We’re sure Thielen would like to have that one back, because there’s no way you can fault Cousins on that pass. Thielen bobbled it, and he watched Mack snatch it out of his hands. Let’s face it, he didn’t stand a chance. This was a guy who flipped Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs with one arm!

Entering this game, Mack had 33 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one pass defensed to his credit on the 2020 season. Mack has had some success against the Vikings in his NFL career. In five games, Mack recorded nine combined tackles (two for loss), 3.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one pass defensed.

The Bears might not have the best offense in the league, but they can proudly boast that they have a top defense in the league, with Mack as their main weapon. Let this be a lesson to other NFL players — if you’re carrying the ball against the Bears, keep your eyes peeled for Mack, because he’s going to force you to turn it over one way or another.
