Start:

Duke Johnson, HOU, vs. NE

Duke Johnson has another start on his hands with David Johnson on Injured Reserve. Against the New England Patriots, Johnson has a chance to have his best game as they have let up plenty of yards on the ground. Add in his usual passing down work and he could be a top 15 play at the position this week.

Jonathan Taylor, IND, vs. GB

One more shot. That’s what you should be giving Jonathan Taylor who has clearly fallen in terms of value from the first week of the season to this point. Green Bay gives up the most points to runners in football, making it fair to assume Taylor can have that bounceback game to get him out of this brutal slump that he is in.

Mike Davis, CAR, vs. DET

Mike Davis has filled in well for Christian McCaffrey and could very well do it again this week as there’s a good chance Carolina will be without their start once again. Davis will have a chance to gouge the Detroit Lions defense that has been victimized by their opponent’s rushing attacks. He’s a top 10 option this week ladies and gents.

Sit:

Ronald Jones, TB, vs. LAR

Ronald Jones rumbled for nearly 200 yards last week and will look to continue that roll this week against the Los Angeles Rams. Personally, believing in Jones or Leonard Fournette seems to be the headache of the season as it seems to be every other week type of thing. Expect neither to have banner days against the Los Angeles Rams and you will be better off.

Melvin Gordon, DEN, vs. MIA

Melvin Gordon has become incredibly upsetting since Phillip Lindsay returned to the lineup and now they face the hottest team in football, the Miami Dolphins. There’s no way you can really trust Gordon but passing down work could be in effect here. Sit him either way.

Rams Running Backs,  @ TB

The hope here is that you have already, but figuring out the Rams running back situation continues to be a pain for all who have them. Malcolm Brown recorded two touchdowns last week, Darrell Henderson recorded one, and Cam Akers got his most run in some time. As they prepare to play a top rush defense in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, you should go somewhere else and avoid the headache it leads to.
