College football insider Paul Finebaum has clearly seen enough of Jim Harbaugh with Michigan after the team’s latest loss to Wisconsin.

What in the world has happened to Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines? The team is always expected to compete for a Big Ten title, but they’ve looked downright awful in 2020 on both sides of the ball.

After an impressive 49-21 win at No. 21 Minnesota to begin the season, the Wolverines have since lost three consecutive games, falling to Michigan State, Indiana and Wisconsin. After the loss to the Badgers, college football guru Paul Finebaum made it clear he’s tired of watching this Michigan team, and didn’t hold back in offering up his thoughts against Harbaugh.

Paul Finebaum is basically calling for Michigan to move on from Jim Harbaugh

“More of the same,” Finebaum said of Harbaugh via 247Sports. “This is a coach that was once respected. And now, sadly, Jim Harbaugh has become a punchline in college football. It’s almost impossible to watch this guy. He makes $8 million a year and was the talk of the sport a couple of years ago. And now, no one knows what the future looks like. It looks pretty grim if Michigan decides to fire him. A lot of people up there are saying they want to keep him. For what reason? I have no idea.”

It’s hard to blame Finebaum for having this reaction. When Harbaugh returned to Ann Arbor, the expectation was he’d help the program get back to an elite level and compete for national titles. That simply hasn’t been the case, with the team not living up to the hype year after year.

With Michigan currently standing at 1-3, all the pressure is on Harbaugh to try and turn things around. If he can’t, the program may seriously need to consider making some sort of a change, because it’s clear the Harbaugh-Michigan reunion has not gone as planned whatsoever.
