Tannehill has been good this season, but both he and the Titans have struggled lately. The offense bogged down against Cincinnati a few weeks back and again facing Indianapolis, going 15-of-27 for 147 yards and a touchdown. Two deep attempts (20+ yards) isn’t enough.

Roethlisberger attempted nine deep balls on Sunday and hit only completed one. However, he consistently peppered the middle ground, hitting on eight throws between 10-20 yards including a pair of touchdowns. This was the best Roethlisberger played all year.

Goff was in total command against Seattle’s rancid defense, going 27-of-37 for 302 yards without a turnover. The Rams handled Russell Wilson and Co. to pull into a three-way tie with the Seahawks and Cardinals. Now, another test against Tom Brady and the Bucs.

Murray had three completions and an interception of 10+ air yards, and the Cardinals were about to fall against Buffalo. Then, a lightning bolt to DeAndre Hopkins with two seconds left, giving up the Hail Murray. One of the all-time throws, and all-time endings.

Herbert struggled — relatively speaking — against the Dolphins. The rookie faced consistent pressure against Miami’s blitz-heavy scheme, and was limited to 187 yards with an interception. Herbert is typically the only reason Los Angeles is in games, but he couldn’t make it competitive in Miami.
2020 stats: 2,156 yards | 69.3 completion % | 16 TDs | 2 INTs | 7.6 YPA | 75.5 QBR

To look at the stat line, Carr wasn’t impressive against Denver. He threw for 154 yards and no touchdowns. Yet, watching the game, Carr was let down by a trio of big drops which could have added a score and potentially 75 yards or so. Carr isn’t elite, but he’s become an above-average starter who doesn’t make mistakes.
