Ryan Garcia’s baby is already taking striking lessons (Video)

Lightweight boxer Ryan Garcia just found out that he’s having a baby girl. We know that dad has skills, but mom packs a mean punch too. 

Lightweight boxing contender Ryan Garcia is likely bummed that his fight with Luke Campbell is off, but he’s super excited to learn that he’s soon going to be a girl dad.

On Tuesday, Nov. 17, Garcia posted an Instagram video of his pregnant girlfriend, Drea Celina, working the mitts while pregnant. She showed some speedy, powerful hands, which means that Garcia’s daughter will have ample boxing DNA.

“I guess I’m a girl dad,” read Garcia’s Instagram post. “Only thing is my girls are going to know how to fight. BABY BELA ON THE WAY.”

Garcia (20-0, 17 KOs) was supposed to fight title challenger Campbell on Dec. 5, but Campbell tested positive for COVID-19. Garcia last fought in February, knocking out Francisco Fonseca in round 1.

Campbell (20-3, 16 KOs) lost his last bout against Vasiliy Lomachenko in 2019 and will have to wait longer before stepping into the ring against Garcia. Campbell marks a big step up for the 22-year-old Garcia and is an intriguing matchup that will hopefully be rescheduled soon.

Until then, Garcia and Celina are overjoyed at the news they will be giving birth to a baby girl. Congrats to parents to be Garcia and Celina on the upcoming joy of baby Bela.
