Wide Receiver: Justin Jefferson $6,700

Wide receiver is a hard one to peg this week. There are no magical DeAndre Hopkins on the slate or the always reliable Stefon Diggs. There are the traditional greats, but they’ve been scary inconsistent.

Michael Thomas has been downright bad, but he now has the big arm of Jameis Winston under center. Julio Jones has some big performances, but he’s been taken out of games as well. Davante Adams is here, but at $9,500 taking him means giving up one of the top running backs.

Justin Jefferson has been the best rookie wide receiver, which is saying something since he is in a class with Henry Ruggs, CeeDee Lamb, and Jerry Jeudy. He’s been targeted consistently, and the Vikings have been hitting him deep. Obviously, Cook is what drives that offense, but that actually opens things up for Jefferson.

Prior to this past week’s Monday Night Football performance, Jefferson had two disappointing performances in a row, but that just dropped his price before the Cowboys game. The Dallas Cowboys’ struggles in the secondary are well documented.

With Adam Thielen on the other side of the field, the Cowboys won’t be able to stop both of them, and they might allow each of them to have a huge game.
