The college football season is limping to the finish line as COVID cases and issues continue to skyrocket among the teams and on campus. It’s an extension of what’s going on in society where new record-highs for cases are being hit on an almost daily basis.
This was to be expected with the eventual second wave coming in the late fall as was warned at the onset of the pandemic in mid-March. Many states are issuing harsher preventative measures, including state-wide mask mandates, curfews and the closing of restaurants, bars and restaurants in an effort to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus.
