This Sunday, the FanDuel/DFS community will be presented with the final round of the RSM Classic. Let’s take a look at the final round slate from a fantasy golf perspective!

Before I discuss my FanDuel player selections I want to clearly state that this article is specifically focused on the final round contest. The final round contest is vastly different with regard to scoring than the traditional contest offered by FanDuel for DFS golf.

If you are not familiar with the rules for the final round contest I recommend that you check out the FanDuel website for more details.

Here are my player selections for the final round of the RSM Classic!

Harris English $11,000

English has four top 12 finishes in his last seven events on the PGA Tour, including a fourth place finish at the U.S. Open.

When playing final round DFS golf contests, I like to look at key player statistics for the event as it is ongoing. Having stated that, let’s take a look at how English is performing in relation to the field. After two rounds of play at the RSM Classic, in relation to the field, English is currently ranked fourth in strokes gained approach, 12th in strokes gained ball striking, and 14th in strokes gained tee to green.

Kevin Kisner $10,500

The South Carolina native has had a great deal of success stacking up quality results at the RSM Classic in the last decade. How much success you may ask? Since 2011, Kevin Kisner has played the RSM Classic nine times. In those nine events played, Kisner has an impressive six top 26 finishes, including a win at the 2015 RSM Classic.

Alexander Noren $9,600

The 38 year old has played eight tournaments on the PGA Tour since the beginning of August. In those eight events just mentioned, Noren has six top 22 finishes, including a third place result at the 3M Open.

As of this writing (Friday evening), through two rounds of play at the RSM Classic, Noren is currently tied for 30th place with a score of five under par.

Joel Dahmen $8,900

The 33 year old American fired a final round 67 at the ZOZO Championship @ Sherwood three weeks ago on his way to an eventual eighth place finish.

After two rounds of play at the RSM Classic, in relation to the field, Dahmen is currently ranked first in strokes gained approach, first in strokes gained ball striking, and first in strokes gained tee to green.

Matthew NeSmith $8,900

The 27 year old has two top 17 finishes in his last three events on the PGA Tour, including an eighth place result at the Shriners Hospitals For Children Open.

It should also be mentioned that the American has performed well at the RSM Classic in the past. NeSmith shot a final round 67 at the 2019 RSM Classic en route to a 14th place finish.
