Watch CeeDee Lamb’s touchdown and try to say it’s not the catch of the year (Video)

Move over, DeAndre Hopkins, because Dallas Cowboys rookie CeeDee Lamb might have the catch of the year.
Last week, NFL fans were gushing about Arizona Cardinals wideout DeAndre Hopkins’ game-winning reception over three Buffalo Bills defenders. Many were calling it the catch of the year, and for good reason. But, the award winner is always subject to change on a weekly basis. That can be said for Week 11.
During his game against the Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys rookie wide receiver CeeDee Lamb saw an Andy Dalton pass get thrown behind him in the end zone. Instead of giving up on the play, Lamb managed to contort his body to fall backwards to secure the catch over Vikings rookie cornerback Jeff Gladney to put the Cowboys ahead 13-7.

Lamb has a touchdown in back-to-back weeks
For those wondering how Lamb managed to drop all the way to pick No. 17 in this past year’s NFL Draft, we don’t know either. But the Cowboys sure aren’t complaining.
In his rookie campaign, Lamb has put up the yardage, but he never hit pay dirt in the end zone much. In fact, his first two touchdowns of the season came in Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns. Lamb didn’t reach the end zone again until last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, when the Garrett Glibert-led Cowboys gave the undefeated squad a fight. But with this impressive touchdown, Lamb now has one in consecutive weeks.
Entering this week, Lamb has caught 44-of-68 targets from the likes of Dak Prescott, Ben DiNucci, Gilbert and Dalton for 595 yards and three scores.
Death, taxes and the Cowboys landing a stud wide receiver. Those are the givens in life. And Lamb looks like he’s going to be a problem for opposing defenses for quite some time, especially if he keeps making catches like these.
