Andy Dalton will return to the field for the Cowboys in a must-win game against the Vikings on Sunday.

To say things have not gone according to plan for both the Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings would be a total understatement. The two NFC squads are in the middle of inconsistent years, with Dallas sporting a 2-7 record and Minnesota standing at 4-5.

However, both teams have a huge opportunity to stay in the postseason mix with a much-needed win on Sunday. For Dallas, the good news is Andy Dalton will be back under center for the offense. Will No. 14 have what it takes to lead the Cowboys to an upset road victory?

What to watch for in Cowboys vs. Vikings in Week 11

Indeed, Dalton will be back after missing multiple games with a concussion and being placed on the COVID-19/Reserve List. His return couldn’t come soon enough, with Ben DiNucci and Garrett Gilbert not having enough mojo to power Dallas over the Eagles and Steelers in the last two games.

With Dalton back, it should open things up more for the offense, which of course is excellent news for running back Ezekiel Elliott.

As for the Vikings, the team has been playing sound football of late, winning its last three games after starting the season off 1-5. This was highlighted by their win over Aaron Rodgers and the Packers on Nov. 1. On paper, they’re the favorites to take down Dallas. Will Kirk Cousins help get that job done?
