Joe Burrow getting a ton of support from Twitter after knee injury
By John Buhler
Joe Burrow’s rookie season with the Cincinnati Bengals is likely over after this injury.
Joe Burrow suffered an awful knee injury vs. the Washington Football Team on Sunday.
The Cincinnati Bengals used the No. 1 overall pick on the 2019 Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback out of LSU to be the face of their franchise. While the Bengals are not the least bit good in his rookie year, Burrow showed signs of great promise right away.
Unfortunately, it seems as though he has played his last snap of his rookie campaign.
Twitter is hoping he will be okay.
Where do the Cincinnati Bengals even go from here?
This was a team that went 2-14 last season and had earned the right to pick No. 1 overall.
Burrow grew up in Southeastern Ohio, hoping to be the savior of this moribund franchise.

If the injury is as bad it looks, we have absolutely no idea when he will return to the field.
This is one of those injuries you just feel sick to your stomach and feel so terrible for him.
Anybody who watched the Bayou Bengals last year were utterly captivated by Burrow. He put together the single greatest season we have ever seen out of a college quarterback. Burrow was perfection running the LSU offense and now he will have to rehab his busted knee, in addition to carrying a downtrodden franchise. No wonder so many people so terrible for the guy.
These type of injuries are the absolute worst part of football.
