In the market for some fantasy advice? Here are five potential stars for Week 12.

The holiday season is here and that means heavy fantasy implications. In short, this is where you either make or miss the playoffs in most league formats.

Luckily for fantasy armchair general managers, no teams go on bye in Week 12. You will have a full buffet of lineup options to digest before you lock your starting squad in.

With no teams on bye, you probably will not feel the inclination to dive into the waiver wire because most of your team starters are available. However, players may be injured and otherwise unavailable, so do not shy away from dabbling in your league’s free agent market.

Let’s start the list of five potential breakout stars to pick up for this week.

If you’re a Buffalo Bills fan, or a hardcore NFL fan, you are probably aware of John Brown‘s departure from the team’s Week 10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Reportedly, the receiver left the game due to an ankle injury.

The Bills were on bye in Week 11, so Brown had some time to rest that injury. It is unclear the severity, but he could still play in Week 12 when the Bills play the Los Angeles Chargers. So, just keep this in mind and monitor his status.

Brown’s availability in Week 12 is worth keeping tabs on because the Chargers present a favorable matchup for him and he has also been in great form. In Week 9, he was targeted 11 times and hauled in eight catches for 99 yards. During that game against the Cardinals in which he left injured; Brown had six catches on eight targets for 72 yards.

This game may end up being high scoring. Both defenses have the susceptibility to give up points, which means Josh Allen might be going to the air a considerable amount.

Stefon Diggs will always be priority number-one for defensive coordinators, and Cole Beasley gets attention as an underneath threat. Building off play action, Brown is a great third option who seems to always go for chunk plays.

Los Angeles has kept opponent receivers in check, but this game presents circumstances in which Brown could be highly used if he is healthy.
